This is my new favorite insect repellant. It is seriously awesome! I often joke that my blood is like crack cocaine for mosquitoes, not even Deet keeps them away. I much prefer all natural, non-toxic methods and products, but my poor pink-puckered arms and legs begged for whatever would keep the bugs at bay.
I have been entirely unsuccessful until now. I have tried everything in the book: OFF!, homemade sprays with essential oils like peppermint, lavender, lemongrass, citronella, and tea tree oil, Honest Co. Bug Spray, Babyganics Bug Spray, Badger Bug Spray, “any other” bug spray, citronella candles, and matches in my pockets.
Enter “Goats Milk and Honey Bug Off!” By Saban Rock Living. The silky, luxurious mixture goes on so smooth, never mind that you are preparing for war. This feels like going to the spa. The organic, ethically sourced (locally when possible) ingredients somehow make my skin impervious to nasty little suckers. Evenings at the kitchen sink cleaning up the day used to riddle my ankles with bites; not anymore! I can sit on my lanai and feed my children or do laundry outside with confidence. Suffice it to say, I LOVE this stuff! The smell is quite mild comparatively, and leaves your skin feeling soft and nourished. A little bit goes a long way. Get some today and stop suffering!
Please check out her website and order ANYTHING made by her. If you find yourself on Saba, you can buy her products at Kakona Keepsakes of Saba, an artisan gift shop located at Lambee’s Place in Windwardside, otherwise you can order from her website, hyperlinked above. I buy my tea from her and also use her Saban Smoothing Shaving Jelly, also AMAZING. Next on my list to try is “Saban Banana, Egg Yolk, and Coconut Milk Shampoo Bar”.
Saban Rock Living is another good reason to get yourself to Saba, Dutch Caribbean!
